Montez M. Robinson is a vigorous leader, as well as a tactical and competitive Head Men’s Basketball Coach.
Robinson coined his style of play

Robinson is a mentor, student of the game and passionate teacher in the game of basketball. He believes in exposing student-athletes to as many opportunities possible, in basketball and life. Robinson believes various experiences lead to a successful and well-rounded person. Thus, his winning attitude and hunger for greatness, on and off the court, has led to his revitalization of the Alcorn State University Men's Program. Coach Robinson is nicknamed ​"Men's Basketball Program Rejuvenator."​
